Shader magazine is a tattoo lifestyle publi­cation focusing on tattoo culture specifically in Asia such as Thailand, Japan, and the Phil­ippines. The magazine features tattoo culture in Asia as it explores various tattooing tech­niques, methods, and designs from these countries. The name “Shader” encompasses different meanings. In tattooing, a shader refers to a type of needle used for soft shading. In addition, the term shader also refers to anything that provides shade aligning its name to the essence of tattooing or body art where Image—Illustration, Design, or Script is engraved to the skin using black ink or color ink covering the skin.
